Mobile app development in Romania

Apps that ship to the App Store and Google Play — with the API, the release process and the second version already planned.

Mobile app development covers designing, building and releasing iOS and Android applications, together with the API, authentication, notifications and infrastructure they depend on. It is for founders launching a mobile product and for teams whose web platform now needs a proper native or cross-platform client. M Tech Solutions is a software studio founded in 2023 in Craiova, Romania, working in English and Romanian with clients across the EU and North America. We build in Swift, Kotlin and React Native, share API contracts with the web side so both stay consistent, and deliver in two-week sprints with a live demo every Friday. Discovery lasts about a week and is fixed-price, kickoff is usually within 7–10 days, and we stay on call through the first month after release.

What we build

  • Native iOS in Swift and native Android in Kotlin when the product needs platform depth.
  • React Native when one codebase for both platforms is the better trade-off.
  • The backend behind the app — APIs, authentication, push notifications, background jobs.
  • Store releases: build pipelines, review submissions, staged rollouts, crash reporting.
  • Companion web apps and admin tools sharing the same API contracts.

How we work

Discover takes about a week and covers users, flows, platform constraints and what actually has to be native. Shape produces prototypes and a technical spike on the risky integrations — payments, offline behaviour and notifications.

Build runs in two-week sprints with a live demo every Friday on real devices. Launch covers store submission, monitoring and a runbook, and we stay on call through the first month.

How an engagement runs: discovery, shaping, two-week sprints, launch with a month on call

Native or React Native

React Native suits products where most screens share the same logic and speed of release to both stores matters more than platform-specific polish. Native Swift or Kotlin is better when you rely on hardware, background processing or platform APIs that change quickly.

We make that call during discovery, in writing, with the maintenance cost stated — not after the first sprint.

When we are a fit

  • You need the app and the backend from the same team, with one set of API contracts.
  • The app must actually reach the stores and keep passing review, not stall in TestFlight.
  • You want a maintenance rhythm after launch, not a handover into silence.

How engagements work

We offer fixed pricing for discovery and the first release scope, then work on a time and materials basis for the ongoing roadmap once the app is live and real usage starts steering it.

We kick off within 7–10 days and reply within one business day.

Frequently asked questions

Native or React Native — which do you recommend?

It depends on how much of the product is platform-specific. We decide during discovery and write down the reasoning and the maintenance cost, so the choice is yours with full information.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submissions?

Yes — build pipelines, store metadata, review submission and staged rollout are part of the launch phase.

Can you build the API as well?

Yes. Node, Python, Go or PHP services with Postgres, Redis and queues, sharing contracts with any web client so both stay in sync.

Can you add AI features to a mobile app?

Yes — streaming copilots, retrieval and AI image workflows are a core track for us, and mobile clients consume them through the same backend.

What happens after the first release?

We stay on call through the first month, then most teams continue with two-week sprints for the next version.
